    Performance, Load & Stress Testing of the FINACLE 10 Upgrade project was outsourced to Hyperion. Tasks included:
  • Performance Test environment Set up
  • Test scenario preparation
  • Performance test execution which included:

    • Load Balancer
  • Integration channels to FINACLE such as
    • ATM (Verve)
    • MasterCard
    • VISA (UPSL)
    • VISA (EMP)

    • CPM (Internet Banking, NIP, VANSO & VIA Card)

  • Development and Testing of Web Services
  • Performance bottleneck identification
  • In July 2020, Hyperion started it engagement with FCMB to carry out Performance, Load & Stress testing on the Bank’s Trade X project with load testing conducted through the Bank’s Middleware. The Trade X project is a Trade Finance software that delivers unique functionalities currently not available in most international trade systems. The software ensures that all the requirements of the African market are met adequately. Trade-X encapsulates the required step-by-step process in the entire life cycle of trade finance in Africa
  • To address the increased risks of the current fraud and cyber security landscape, the Bank has decided to further enhance its system of internal controls regarding fraud, corruption and bribery by developing a holistic Enterprise Fraud Management system.  The main objective of the project is to “provide a full EFM (Enterprise Fraud Management) infrastructure with initial coverage of risks in the area of online channels & back-office including internal risks.

  The project consists of 5 modules to be deployed in the following order:

  1. Secure Payments – Mobile
  2. Secure Payments – Cards
  3. Secure Payments – SWIFT
  4. Secure Payments – WEB
  5. Internal Employee Fraud
